What to Expect After the Online Course

Begin by completing the classroom portion online at a pace that works with your schedule. You can work through the material when convenient, then contact Summit Defense to arrange your in-person shooting qualification in Wichita Falls. The $100 package includes both the online classroom course and the qualification appointment with Summit Defense.
This flexible format works well for busy students who want to complete the classroom material from home instead of attending a traditional all-day class. Before your range appointment, review your confirmation information and let us know if you have questions about equipment, ammunition, or bringing a handgun. New shooters are welcome, and we can help you understand what to bring before you arrive.
During the appointment, Drew will explain the process, review range-safety expectations, and keep the experience organized and supportive. After completing both portions, you will receive the course documentation needed for the next step in your Texas License to Carry application. Texas DPS makes all licensing decisions.
